The stench of fear was poignant around her. The scent acrid and bitter, unsettling and unnerving. It became paired with the growing rate of her heartbeat, fast and thundering as it hammered against her ribcage. Her lungs heaved with each shallow breath and her legs burned with each pointed thrust. Delilah ran and she did not stop.
Her eyes were wide and bloodshot. Her body merely running off the fumes of her own adrenaline. Exhaustion was the devil in disguise. It whispered sweet lullabies in her ear, primed her for sleep and implored her to rest her eyes—but even wildly uncertain of the path before her, Delilah knew she could not give in. Not yet. Not until she was safe.
In all her years, she had never heard of someone escaping the clutches of the Guild. Others had whispered it was impossible. And yet here she was. Alive and perhaps even free. The reality of the situation, however, was not lost on her. She would not fool herself to think that her freedom would last long. Surely someone would come after her. Certainly, she would be punished for her transgressions. It was obvious that this would only be a fraction of what true freedom could one day feel like.
But Delilah vowed to try, to at least give herself a fighting chance.
Snow crunched beneath her feet as she ran; frantic and careless against the the winter cold. The forest around her towered with its white tipped hands and howling wind—it looked just as eager to enact its vengeance against her, as she believed the ones who tracked her would.
Tears bloomed in her eyes as she pushed forward. Yet, within a few short moments, a hidden pile of roots, a deceptively icy stretch of earth, and a pile of snow would be her undoing. The woman tripped, legs buckling and twisting beneath her—and her body soared against what she would later recognize as a pile of frozen snow and a large tree.
Delilah heard nothing but a loud thunk and the blood rushing through her ears as her body disintegrated into the ground; melting into a place beneath a towering pine. Dots of darkness blotted her vision and with no more energy left within her to fight, she succumbed to the steady shadows of unconsciousness.

She had delved over the mountains like a monster fleeing from her ghosts. Maybe she was. Either way, the hurried pace of her steps was not to be missed. A small and dainty thing, she had pushed across the terrain with such easiness that she was hardly panting by the time she came to a stop. No, her breathlessness was from an anxiety that had coiled in her gut from the moment she'd left. She felt so naked and alone out here, exposed to a world of ice and cruelty. Her stomach ached. Her heart ached. She didn't understand the emotions but she'd known that it had been too much. The children... Karlek... The woman swallowed around the lump in her throat.
This was what she was good for. Running away and starting over. Just like she had when her parents had abandoned her. She felt frightened, but also freed. As if she didn't have to stare at the tiny little rats that made her not only doubt herself, but doubt her resolution. She hadn't even bid farewell. She'd stolen off in the night while Karlek was deep in the den with the children they'd been raising together. It wasn't as if she owed anything to the man. Hardly.
Melancholy danced in her chest either way as she began to pass under the crossing, her yellow eyes looking up at it with the numbest feeling she'd had in a long time. She shouldn't be alone. That was the memory that came to her first. She stared at the arch as if it might ground her, her ears splaying out sideways before slowly shifting to hide in the soft fur of her ruff. The ruff that had faint scars in it.
Her tail was scraggly. Clearly having been chewed at the middle more than once. It shifted and she looked back at it, her shoulders slumping in mild defeat. Like a dog trapped in a cage she turned to grasp her tail. She turned around once, twice, thrice, and then several more times before she finally grasped it. There, as if she didn't have the whole world around her... as if she were trapped in a cage with nowhere else to go, she collapsed and began to gnaw quietly on her tail.
She'd figure out her plan of action later.

Dionysus rumbled with fury he was barely keeping a lid on as the cold muck seeped further into his fur. It wasn't just soaking wet in this fucking bog, it was cold and wet. He could barely feel his toes. Rib had brown-grey snow-slush and mud caked to the skull's normally pristine, smoothed curves and edges. Dionysus' beautiful pelt stuck out in spiky, wet, half-frozen clumps and spikes and cowlicks from his various slips, pitfalls, and general slogging through the muck. It'd been too gradual an entrance, and by the time he realized he was in a mess, he couldn't turn back to get around it.
Huffing through his nose sharply, Dionysus pulled a dark paw free of the grassy mud and flung it forward to try to take another step. His paw sunk into the slush and wet soil, then kept sinking, a hidden sudden dip in the terrain tilting him forward. The cold muck touched his chin and Dionysus jerked his head up, ears slicked to his skull as he scanned the terrain before him, searching half-desperately for dry-ish land. He'd swum in more welcoming stormy seas before, saltwater burning his nose and lungs.

Roleplay Sample: Sitka glowered at the snow as it drifted slowly from the sky. "Damn snow. Damn Cold." he growled. He really needed to find a warmer part of the valley. preferably a spat where It didn't snow at all during the year. If a spot like that even existed. The icky cold stuff always clumped in his paws and fur, making him closer than he already was.

Any parent fur/eye colors for their genotype: Nope
Roleplay Sample: Sin stalked through the trees flowing the scent he had picked up a mile back. Deer, it had been so long since he had tasted venison and his mouth watered and his stomach growled at the mere thought of it. If it was a small enough deer he should be able to bring it down himself, he thought. If it was an adult he would have to pass it up. He might be able to bring a full grown doe down by himself, but it would be tricky and he would be risking unnecessary injury.
