Despite being related to the Magna Grade in the north, these foothills are less pleasant. No river cuts through the ravines, and somehow, they're even less welcoming — especially in the icy months, which extend from mid-autumn to mid-spring.

Hidden somewhere in the wild, untamed slopes of the Southern Spine is this mile-deep cave system. There is a reward at the end of it, for those brave enough to explore: a refreshing, natural spring.
