The northernmost reaches of the Spine whose peaks stand in the way of any traveler that may dare to scale them. Its slopes are rough and jagged, akin to that of a primitively fashioned blade, and its conditions are harsh to even the most formidable of risk-takers. If the environment on the way up does not kill, the unstable snows that rest atop will do the job.

Tucked within the brim of the more northern territories is a thick, coniferous forest that boasts a large meadowed area and hosts Cinis River on its journey to the basin. Much like the mountains that reside above it, this forest is cold and cruel. It does not favor the weak — it tests the few strong souls that dare call these woods a place of residence.

The greater of two water sources landlocked within the valley. Its banks are muddy and the northern shore is steep, but the lake itself is clear and clean. It is fed by the Cinis and Parvus waterways, whose currents leech from the mountains and enter the lake in the form of small, rocky waterfalls. To the south the land is flatter and serves as the starting point for Solum Strait.

An extensive region of hillocks and granite outcroppings that spans from one side of the valley to the other. The soil is arid here, but some trees and plenty of grasses have managed to take root. The climate within this territory collects more warmth than other places and naturally, many ungulates migrate through it for grazing. Through its center runs a small, slow-moving river.

While not as dark and imposing, the smaller of our forests still holds many secrets from the view of passersby. Within the heart of this woodland area rests a pond whose waters are unnaturally red. At its north end looms a narrow land bridge comprised of granite, high enough for Solum Strait to pass underneath — and high enough to cause damage should one tumble off it.

Sisters to the ragged peaks of the north, this southern mountain range acts as a natural barrier to any that try to pass through. However, these particular ridges harbor a vast secret; a difference from their siblings that lies underground, accessible only through a narrow passageway. May only the foolish attempt to conquer these great heights or explore the mysterious depths.
